Reverberant Ecologies
Reverberant Ecologies: Myth, Matter, and the Feminine explores the entangled relationships between forms, materials, and the living and non-living through myth, ecology, and eco-feminist narrative-making. This exhibition brings together artistic practices grounded in deep interconnection with nature and relational storytelling.
Rooted in the original meaning of “ecology” (from oikos, the Greek word for “home”), it reimagines nature as a living, breathing household we inhabit, and with which we are intimately intertwined. Using natural pigments, handmade paper, and textiles, the three artists create a space that holds care, ritual, and connection. Reflecting on the question, “How might we speak with and listen to nature?”, the exhibition invites us to return home to our ecological selves—those parts shaped by gentleness, attentiveness, and reverence.
